If you stop smoking, the stain will go away in a few weeks.
quit smoking and excess of coffee.. the dark stains are due to nicotine apply a lot of Vaseline even when you sleep at night this will keep the lips moisturized also when you go out in sun apply a lil sunscreen this protects from ultra violet radiations and reduce pigmentation..
The only thing you can do is to exfoliate your lips regularly and make sure you wear a lip moisturiser at all times. Avoid lipsticks that dry out your lips.
It will improve but it may not ever be exactly the same as it was before smoking
You may wish to see a dermatologist and him/her because they might be able to offer a viable solution.
