  • Only if they don't come off without leaving a mark.
  • Probably not. Most of the time they are just advertisements. Then again, some advertisements are considered vandalism to some people, like "CLICK HERE FOR A FREE LAPTOP!!! YOU ARE A WINNER!!!"
  • In a legal sense, no. If they can be removed without causing lasting physical damage, they are not considered vandalism.
  • If they are in a place they don't belong they can be considered vandelism. They are a defacing of property and many times leave residue or remove surface protection when removed such as paint or clear coat damaging the property beneath. Bumper stickers are intended to be placed on ones own property. Merriam Webster defines it as: : the willful or malicious destruction or defacement of property Dictionary.com defines deface as: 1. to mar the surface or appearance of; disfigure: to deface a wall by writing on it. 2. to efface, obliterate, or injure the surface of, as to make illegible or invalid: to deface a bond. Placing a sticker on a surface can fall under this definition. Especially if it cannot be easily removed. The act was done without being aware of whether it could be removed or not. The consequence of the act only dictates the severity of the punishment. The act itself is still vandalism.
  • Yes..my granddaughter has them everywhere..doors,mirrors,fridge..anywhere she can reach. She has the makings of a juvenile delinquent..lol
  • They are. You can be charged with defacing property for putting stickers on someone else's property if they object to it. Even something that doesn't cause permanent damage (like a picket sign or something) can be considered vandalism. Vandalism, as defined by law, is tampering with, so as to alter the appearance of, someone else's property.
  • I think legally they are considered vandalism, but only because there are some really anal people out there. I guess you could consider it a form of art too though because there are some pretty sweet designs. Oh well, what-ev.
  • Not if easily removed...
  • No, they are a nuisance. stickers can be taken off, Spray paint, is another problem altogether and qualifies as vandalism.
