While I don't know about Johnny Depp particularly, I can tell you that most celebrities don't personally answer fan mail at all, or only in extremely rare cases. It's not that they don't care about their fans, it's that most celebrities get so much fan mail that they simply don't have the time to reply. There are a number of other reasons why various celebrities don't generally send personal responses to fan mail, prime of which is that it would quickly become a full time job, and the cost for supplies and postage can add up. There was a time when some celebrities did answer fan mail personally, but that time is long past.

Yes, Johnny Depp has been known to answer to fan mail....in fact I wrote to him in Language Arts and he replied back it took awhile though because I did not send it to his house in France but instead to his PO box in LA. He also sends his autgograph on a photo of him with his signature to you. He also writes back....this takes about 7 months though...but it's worthwhile.

Could anyone please tell me the address so I could write him! I am a huge fan and I would love to meet him but I know that's never going to happen but if I could talk to him, that would be so great!
