My mum always used to use a dab of geranium essential oil. I've also heard people say that rubbing the juice froma dandelion stalk on the wart will help, but I can't say I've ever tried it.

Duct tape - seriously! But freezing them off (over the counter now) is so much faster.

Yes, here are some of them. Hope this helps. One remedy for warts is aspirin. But you don’t swallow it. Instead, dip your hand in warm water and place a damp aspirin tablet on the wart. Cover it with a Band-Aid or a gauze pad with tape to keep it in place. Put the aspirin on before going to bed. That one application should do the trick. Your wart should be history in just a few days. This remedy is not recommended for” those who are allergic to aspirin. Putting iodine on a wart several times a day can help to dissolve it away. Although this remedy may take a while, keep applying the iodine several times a day and the wart should fall off within a few weeks. Here is a cure for plantar warts-the warts that appear on the soles of the feet. These warts can spread, so don’t pick at them. Rub castor oil on the plantar wart each night before you go to bed. Keep this up until the wart’s all gone. Salt is also used as a cure for warts. Moisten some table salt and place it on the wart covering it with a Band-Aid. Keep this treatment up until the wart disappears. Apply a poultice of the molasses and keep on as long as you can. She would also feed us a tablespoon of the blackstrap molasses each day. After about two weeks of the molasses treatment, the wart should drop right off. Try putting a used tea bag on the wart for fifteen minutes every day. Your wart should be toast in a week and a half. Soak your hand in the water from hard boiled eggs. Do this for ten minutes a day until the wart disappears. For some reason, this remedy works specifically for warts that appear on the hands. Place crushed fresh garlic directly on the wart and cover with a dressing for a 24-hour period. The wart should develop a blister and eventually fall off. Castor oil has also been used with varied success. Break the dandelion off at the stem-a white, milky substance will appear. Put this on the wart several times a day until the wart goes away. Be careful, though. Dandelions may cause a rash for people with sensitive skin.
