whirlpool, Ibuprofen, and a stiff drink. Actually keep your body well rested, plenty of fluids and nutrients, a cell volumizer to widen the fluid flow to aid in recovery.
Ohhh..those are not fun. I used to get a monster one ever time I had to be injected with benedryl....I found that keeping the muscle relaxed as much as possible and warm compresses helped it quit hurting more quickly. It probably depends somewhat on how the bruise occurred. Also, Ibuprofen will help with swelling that may result from a bruise, for pain and any inflammation.
I always take high doses of arnica for helping bruises heal quickly
