• I suppose some people wouldn't understand. Closed minded people tend to think that if a person does certain things it makes them a homosexual, in some way or another. The same type of people seem to think that a heterosexual man that engages in anal sex with his girlfriend/wife/whatever must be gay, at least a little bit.
  
  Going to a strip club with your man doesn't mean you're homosexual. Women can go to spend time with their guy, to have a drink or two, or just sit back and have a good time. Did you know that strip clubs are actually becoming a place for dating? A lot of strip clubs are changing the way they do things to accommodate couples. They're not just for the sexually frustrated man anymore who's just looking for a peep show and maybe a frisky grope.

• Ditto Courtni, couldn't have said it better myself :) Kudos. (on the topic...) I hate people naming others as gay because of certain actions. There's bisexuality too you know. I'm bi, attracted as much to men as women. So what? I'm part of all the traditional things my man does being a man (watching porn, going to stripclubs, even watching him f@@k another woman and joining in on that as well). These are most of the relationships that have the least problems/jealousy/insecurity, etc. Some woman have to change their view of it all.

• ditto again lol. Stripclubs aren't brothels for God's sake, it's only looking, or at the most, receiving a lapdance. Good for you jenni for working on it. That's another thing some women have to realize...it's not personal. You have to realize that sex for men (99%) of them is just that...sex...it's just physical (unless sometimes being in a committed relationship with their long term partner it may mean more) but in regards to things like stripclubs, getting off to magazines/porn, etc, it's just sex. To me, emotional cheating is 100 times worse than physical cheating. That's why I have no problem with my guy sleeping with other women (usually I'm involved but if he's away on a business trip and wants an escort that's fine too, hey to them it's 'just sex/work' as well) - obviously general ground rules of protection are involved. Anyway I'll shut up now lol I just want the girls out who feel really insecure about their men watching porn/going to a stripclub that it's just fun nothing el

• Well my bf used to go all the time, but since we been together he has'nt went. So you think by telling him he cant go it could put a strain on our relationship? if you have no rules or standards then everything is just whatever do what you want, I dont get it.

• I don't have rules, no, but I expect someone that I am dating to have enough respect for myself, himself AND our relationship no to push boundaries. My boyfriend knows what is or isn't acceptable, but I never tell him he CAN'T do something. I don't have to...he's god :)

• Exactly. You're his girlfriend, NOT his mother. You shouldn't put rules per se, but you can lay down your boundary lines. Once you talk about what makes you uncomfortable, and those boundaries are stepped over then you have problems. But once you start barking orders and saying what your partner can and cannot do, it becomes a relationship more like a parent than a bf or gf.

• oh now i understand boundaries eh well yeh my boundaries include him not going to the strip club lol j/k i will just tell him that it makes me sad that he wants to go and see other women naked and why cant he just look at me i am his woman right i could never go with them like last time they asked me buti said no caues i am not gay but really it was cause in the back of my mind i knew i couldnt stand seeing him get happy or aroused by another woman i think i might cry

• Just remember- set thos boundaries, but also remember that they don't have to love by them. They may decide that it isn't something they are willing to live with. But be firm. You shouldn't have to put up with something you hate that makes you feel bad. Good luck.

• Being open with your sexuality doesn't mean you have no morals. Going to a strip club/viewing adult material is a choice. If you are personally offended by it then stay away from it. No one's opinions or feelings towards sexually explicit materials should be judged. Let's be honest, in any relationship both partners may fantasize about a person other than their significant other. That's natural. The problem occurs when the fantasy is acted upon. Your harsh criticism of an industry you obviously don't understand only emphasizes your own insecurities. Maybe you and your man have some things to talk about?
