It sounds like you should be all set! I would consult your doctor though...he/she will be able to better discuss your success rate and risks that may be involved.

Dont see why not a woman here is having another baby and she is 48years old,so go for it if thats what you want and good luck.
-
its possible, but theres more risk of complications, you would be best to advise a doctor of your plans..

I would think you could if you have a normal cycle. Of course being older (no disrespect I turn 43 next month) there are certain health complications. I would definately have a conversation with my ob/gyn if I were you. I would also think that he could give you better info as to the pros and cons of motherhood at this age. I think it is great that you want to and commend you on your bravery! I would be a basket case at this age to be pregnant. But hey if I had a much younger guy it might give me the inspiration..LOL Good luck and best wishes!!

60 YEAR OLD GIVES BIRTH TO TWINS: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/05/24/health/main2845879.shtml?source=mostpop_story

Talk to your doctor. There are fertility drugs avaliable. When taking them though, your chance of concieving twins is more likely.

You just asked this...like 5 mins ago...?

Yep. But at your age get the downs test. I am 28 years old and it turns out that I tested positive for the downs chromasome. Got the extensively more detailed ultrasound and he looked fine to everyone so I decided against the large needle into the fedus test. He is four now and perfect. I say go for it if thats what you want just take a few precautions. Gotta tell ya though at 28 years old I can barely keep up with his massive energy. I hope your in shape.
