It means to throw something or somebody through a window (or other piece of glass)

    Note: "Fenster" (German) = window

throwing somebody out of window. It is however mostly ussed only for politically motivated assasination (or attempt for it, because some people are just defenestration tough) by throwing them from the window.

"Historically, defenestration is the act of throwing someone or something out of a window. The word comes from the Latin de (from; out of) and fenestra (window)."
