With premature gray hair, how can one permanently reverse the gray?

    At the present, there is no means to restore hair colour permanently. Any permanent method would require altering the behaviour of pigment cells on the head (and elsewhere) to force them to begin producing pigments again.

    Other alternatives include (there is a theme here, so bear with me):
    - Dying your hair and showing off your grey roots every second week as your hair grows out.
    - Shaving your head and then wearing a wig.
    - Waiting until you go bald and then wearing a wig.
    - Acquiring a genetic condition that causes all of your hair to fall out and then wearing a wig.
    - Accepting grey hair gracefully as a sign of maturity and working to cultivate an environment in which the 'wisdom of age' flourishes.

    I'm still working on the last one, as I started greying in my early 20s and have almost none of my original hair colour left on my head. My beard and chest hair are waging a heroic rearguard action, but losing the war. My moustache recently capitulated.
