  • I use http://www.mygen.co.uk/. You just click the layout icon at the top and you can pick your background (the picture needs to have a url like from google images or photobucket etc.), the colors and fonts of all text, text size, scrollbar colors, hover effects etc.
  • If you're really into doing so, and want to make everything yourself, Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Dreamweaver will get it done.
  • double posted. my bad.
  • notepad. Myspace uses html and css. If you want to make your own layouts, you need to learn html. You type the code into notepad, then cut and paste it into your myspace profile.
  • I have a handy dandy program... it is called the "KeyshaJ". :) Translation: I cannot code worth a hoot and she did my CSS. If you go to those premade layout programs, be careful. Some of them put unwanted programs in your code, often malicious. I would suggest you go to the Myspace forums and ask in the forum for customization. I would like to do something a bit fancier... someday. I need to learn actual CSS (I am ok with HTML) before I can. If you use one of those myspace layout programs you can get a decent looking page but, again, ask in the customization forum which ones are safe.
  • I'm not all that savvy on the do-it-yourself programs but there are a bevy of sights that have rather easy to add graphics and add-on doo-dads. Satisfaction, Pimpmyspace and Hostdrjack are but three of them.
