How are some people able to control their laughter when tickled if the laughter is an involuntary response?

    People can choose to allow themselves to be spontaneous and open. Or they can choose to not be spontaneous. If I am tickled by someone I do not like, my dislike for the person overrides the involuntary response of being tickled and I end up being angry rather than happy.
