Why do people spend their money on good Golf balls and end up losing them the first time they hit them?

    Because they cannot find them.
    It's unfortunate.
    I always get the cheap, used ones. Might as well!

    If you are too much of a hacker and lose balls regularly than you should use cheap or used balls for awhile. When I am hitting on a difficult hole with a lot of water for example that I feel like I may lose my ball I might pull an old ball out for my tee shot just in case. I don't like pissing money away as much as anyone else and if I have a good chance of losing my good balls I'll try not to. But it still happens once in awhile.

    Because most of em just look pretty. My brother has to buy Nikey golf balls because they look cool. Me on the other hand will go out and buy the x'd outs and when I lose it I usually find 3 in it's place so I rarely have to buy em.

    I don't know, if they were smart (like me hahahaha) they'd go and 'collect' them at night. Then turn around and sell them for a quarter each! HAHAHAHA I love doing that.
