  • As much as you are willing to lose.
  • You might want to call in advance and check the cover price. The amount of the cover price plus $30 is a good minimum - it should be enough money for tips plus a drink. If you plan to drink more, bring more.
  • Rule of thumb.... You will spend as much as you have on you. Leave the ATM card at home!! (Plus titty-bar ATMs usually have $5+ transaction fees) (I speak from personal experience... ha-ha)
  • 300 bucks. In mixed/small bills. Period. Sevvo's "Hard Bargains/Good Times"(c): If you're in Vegas and are dropped off by a taxi (in front of the doorman), waive the cab-fare by reminding the cabbie to get their "delivery fee" from the club. Ask for and negotiate with whomever is running the shift (manager) to get six dances for 100, "make it rain" for 100 more, and waive the admission fee. If they insist on the fee, walk away. After they "change their mind all of a sudden" tip the manager 20, and proceed to the bar. When the bartender asks you what you would like, say that you are a friend of Bill W. and ask for a soda. when the 'tender comes back, hold out a large bill and ask for change. After you get the change, tip the 'tender, and let the manager know that you still want to make it rain, but want to check out the girls first. Saunter over to the stage, and get a good seat. When the girls "magically show up on stage" (if the manager is doing his job), tip them about ten bucks apiece over time with singles. If you find two or three of them that are cute/hot, let the DJ or waitress know that you want to make it rain. When the DJ cues up ("Low" by Flo-Rida is good for length), start throwing singles three or four at a time onto the stage (25-35 tosses/end of the song). While the girls are cavorting around excitedly (you big-spender!), identify a performer that you want to party with. When you're ready for your private dances, make sure that the manager understands what you're up to, and cement the 6-for-100 deal between him and the dancer. If he tries to renegotiate the price then walk away. If not, give the manager the cash (but only if he asks for it up-front). When you are in the room with the dancer, let her do her thing and have a good time. Tips are optional at this point (but courteous), and if necessary, remind her of the money that you spent earlier. Anything else that goes on during the 6 songs is up to her to suggest--definitely don't proposition the dancer like a hooker, or you'll get eighty-sixed. Roughly. So that's: Cabbie: $0 Manager Tip: 20 Bartender Tip: ? Stage Dancers: 120-130 Private dancer: 100 and a tip That leaves about 40-50 bucks for unforeseen expenses, etc. Notes: If you're with pals, appropriately adjust the amount of money while you make it rain. A stage covered with cash makes a very compelling argument for management to keep you happy, and put the pressure where it belongs. Why soda? It keeps you sober, and less likely to drunkenly make mistakes. Don't take liberties with the ladies. Clubs hate that. Sometimes the cabbie won't get a cut. Be prepared to pay. Occasionally, the dancer will insist on a VIP room charge. Drop everything, complain to the manager, and ask for another girl. To reiterate, don't try to negotiate with the dancer for "extra-special treatment". Seriously, that makes all your hard work earlier a waste of time. It's also illegal.
