  • Yes, unless you have something like a co pay on doctor's visits.
  • I'm not 100% sure that the office visit fee counts towards the deductible. Does the insurance company make you pay an office visit fee (usually like $25 or more per visit)? My insurance plan is similar to yours, and I think I pay office fees for each visit, no matter how many times I've gone to the doctor. The fees above that would count towards your deductible (any surgeries, any extras, etc). You will have to read the fine print in your health insurance booklet. It should tell you, in detail, what goes towards your deductible. If not, just call the customer service number and ask. :)
