  • Yes. He caught both of my legs with both of his. The hooves each left a huge bruise just above the knee. I fell down after he kicked me, and after that, made sure he knew if I was behind him.
  • No. But I have been bucked off a horse. Then stepped on. In the crotch....... What happened after? I believe I screamed like a wounded demon, then cried for a while. (I was 7 at the time.) I'm okay now, by the way......
  • A number of times. It hurt every time. The only one I can recall that makes for any kind of interesting story is once I was kicked while helping my cousin break a colt and when I bent over in pain I saw the edge of a bill in the dirt, it turned out to be an old $10 bill, not in great shape but very spendable.....
  • Nope, but my horse did flip over on top of me when I was mounted shooting. He broke and fractured both the bones in my right leg, and I have a metal rod in my leg now. My horse and I are still bestest friends though, crazy enough!
  • No but I fell off a horse. I hit my head on the street and nearly broke my leg. The good news is that the ankle I fell on has since then stopped hurting me when I walk. This is one of my favorite logos.
  • Yes. The horse kicked me and broke my rib. I got up, dusted myself off, and climbed back up on the horse.
  • Yes, once I was feeding 3 horses. One mare that was rather temperamental ran backwards and kicked out at me. I fell forward and couldn't get up. My friend ran for her mom and they got my mom to come. They had to put me in a wheelbarrow to get me the long distance to the car and then she rushed mew to the doctor. I think they should have called 911 but that WAS in the olden days. I had many ribs and riblets (those small false ribs) in my back were broken off completely. My neck was out of place, too because this did take place on a pad of concrete. I was only 9 years old. I've never been the same since, always having back problems and not having the muscle and tendon attachments I should have in my lower back. And now I'm in my 50s.
  • Yes right where the butt meets the back lol.. i got a huge hoof shaped bruise.. and on my pelvic bone above the thigh... almost broke the bone but i still got up on the stupid horse ...lol
  • Sure have. Had a nasty tempered Arabain mare try to kick my horse as we waiting to come into the barn. She missed and caught me right abobe the kneee. She almost broke my knee cap. Good thing is she only gave me a bad bruise. And I have had an unbroken paint nail me right in the ribs. I had my arm up so it deflected the blow some. Funny thing is the lady at the stable told me he was fully broke. She could have killed me because it turned out he was only two and had never been handled. Someone dumped him on her and she was just looking for someone to break him for her. So she lied to me so I would work with him and she wouldn't have to pay someone to do it.
  • Yes once. I was riding one horse and another horse in the group tried to kick my horse. He (the kicker) connected with the bottom of my boot. It didn't hurt at all, but it surprised me; and for a moment we had two pissed off horses to deal with. We were just sitting there (several of us) chatting a moment, taking a break and horse number 1 got a "bee in his bonnet." Usually these two didn't have any "issues." Typical human error, not paying attention to the "moods."
  • I've been kicked by a horse. It hurt. I've also been sneezed on by one, when I was told to blow up its nostrils to befriend it. Evidently I blew too hard, and it sneezed all over me. That didn't hurt, but was a lot more gross.
  • I tried to pick the dirt out the feet of a little grey welsh pony and touched her leg and she lashed out in a twisty kick but luckily she only got me on the leg with her hock but it still hurt! After it I smacked her for misbehaving
  • Yes, it broke my ankle.
  • Walking my 16hh Hanavarian x Cob to field went mental for no reason swung around and karaote kicked hard at my leg, thought it was broken for a minute, grabbed onto something, couldnt put any weight on it, after a long limp to the field got worse was so swollen had to go hospital, being told torn muscle or ligament and just rest it. Now on crutches and cant drive car, and will be a bonnie colour in the morning. Have to say horses we all live dangeriously. Dont think i be driving the car tomorrow for work, out of action.
