I just wonder how safe these 100 trucking companies are going to be. The Teamsters are not happy about this situation. The American trucking companies will be able to move their trucks in Mexico, I don't know if that is a viable concession or not, time will tell.
the US Senate will vote on it tonight because of all the uproar.if you have xm radio listen to bozo on channel 171 from 3-6 pm eastern.or go to his web site www.the bozo.com. he is the voice of the american trucker...
It's an opportunity for unmitigated smuggling activity and another attack on American jobs, this is sure to be a hot topic amidst the Teamster Union of the USA. http://www.teamster.org/

I live in Phoenix, AZ. I'm looking for a trucking job. Where is the best place to find a list of current companies seeking drivers? Other than: craigslist, jobing.com, carreerbuilder, and azcentral.com. Or is there an office in town i can visit for help?

You're reading How do you feel about the Mexican truck "demonstration project" allowing Mexican carriers unfettered access to US highways?
Comments
The companies involved in the pilot program will be plenty safe.
They've been hand picked to ensure a successful demonstration.
I'm worried about the companies that come after the pilot when border is fully opened.

Oh I know the Government said they checked the drivers and the trucks safety records, but whenever a new program is started there can be human or computer error. And you are right when it is fully operational it will be difficult to manage.
