  • personally i would say its up to the couple. from a Christian standpoint I think it would be seen as wrong. my view as a Buddhist, is that it may not be helpful. porn can portray the pinnacle of eroticness which can never quite be attained, and can leave us craving and feeling unsatisfied. I think a couple would do well to be content with exploring themselves - i think here there is no right or wrong but simply consequences of actions. and choices.
  • From a Christian point of view probably not. But, since Jesus made it pretty clear WE are not suppose to Judge others.....I would say pray about it...and if either of you feels uncomfortable with the idea DON'T DO IT! Pretend you are filming your own private movie together (consensually of course and not necessarily with real video equipment...key word was PRETEND) I would bet you might come up with a far more exciting fantasy together alone, than any raunchy old porn can offer...I haven't seen many, but all of them were dumb as MUD. REAL people can't even DO half the stuff they film and be successful at a happy ending for both partners! Watch a good comedy...you'll get the same emotional effect...I promise!
  • Right? Dunno. Beneficial? Depends on the couple. If both wanna watch and are into it, why not? But if either person doesnt really like it and/or is threatened by it then it can only hurt. Edit: one of the other posters pointed out you put this in the Christian Beliefs category. In that case I'll answer as a Christian, no, it's not right. When you watch porn you lust after the women in the film, and lusting after another woman is adultery.
  • Well, since you put this in a Christian belief category I'm gonna say absolutely not. It is a sin to look lustfully on another person even if you only have sex with your spouse. Sex should be a pure experience between married people and no one else. It's a mistake to bring other people into the marriage bed even if they are only on the TV or in books.
  • Hell yeah if they can get past the first 5 minutes of the movie before ripping each others clothes off.
  • Definately. I would like to add that I am also a christian.
  • Don't sweat it. Christian or not it doesn't matter! If you both enjoy it, go for it!!!
