    Of course not! The Jews, however, are a convenient group to blame for all the ills of the world. There are enough of them in western society and they occupy all the strata in the socio-economic ladder, making them convenient scapegoats.

    Some elements in Germany made a case for jewish evil, using the publication "The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion" to support their position. This publication was a forgery, created to influence the actions of Tzar Nicholas II of Russia during and following the first Russian revolution in 1905.

    The original author has been identified as Mathieu Golovinski, a Russian exile living in Paris and working for the Okhrana, the Russian secret police. It was first published as part of the "The Great and the Small" by Sergius Nilus, a rabid anti-semite. Golovinski copied the "Protocols" in large part from a book published in 1864 by Maurice Joly, "The Dialogue in Hell Between Machiavelli and Montesquieu", an attack on the French emperor Napoleon III.

    The Tzar, a weak and ineffective ruler, was convinced of a Jewish plot by this tract and by his conservative advisors. A series of vicious pogroms were subsequently launched against Russian Jews. The political situation within Russia continued to deteriorate and, ultimately, led to the second revolution in 1917.

    The "Protocols" have been called a vampire that will not die.

    France and England, which are run by Frenchmen and Englishmen, who are rarely Jews, demanded that Germany pay the damages for WWI. Any economy would be wrecked if, after an exhausting war, instead of selling your exports abroad in exchange for imports, you had to give them away.

    At the time, inflation was not understood. Milton Friedman got a Nobel Prize for economics by proving that inflation was just an increase in the relative supply of money to goods. Germany couldn't produce enough exports to pay war reparations, so it paid in cash, and ran the printing presses overtime to print more Deutschmarks. Finally, prices were rising so rapidly that workers had to be paid two or even three times a day so that their cash would still be worth something by the time they got to the store. No economy can survive such hyperinflation.

    it is always easy to find a scapegoat for your problems, and for the German people, sadly, as had been the case in many European countries before them, chose the Jews. Why? Because, as religous aliens, they had been put in charge of loans (the reasoning being that one christian could not charge another interest). Not that they controlled the country: by no means, but they were a visible presence in most towns and the people that Germans had to go to if they needed a loan. Some had become rich, but by far the majority were just folks, doing most of the things Germans did themselves, attending the same schools etc.
    The real reason for the economic collapse of German after WW1 was the confiscation of the Ruhr region by the French. Most of Germany's industry was in this sector, and its abrupt seizure was disastrous for the country. It led to devaluation of the Mark and a deep economic depression, which was able to be played upon by the Nazis.

    Only if you believe Mein Kampf. The Jews, and quite a few other groups (e.g the communists and socialists) took a lot of the blame in Germany for their defeat and subsequent manhandling at Versaille.

    The Allies should shoulder most of the blame though for forcing reparations and other crippling sanctions on an already floundering state.

    No it was The Allies fault England and france,there hugh payments and there blaming germany for the war,the ruhr was sized after germany failed to make payments on time.

    But remember this Jews had to be hated in general for them to get blamed,if Hitler had sayed it was the midgets and cat lovers who were destorying germany it would never had worked.

    But since most communits were jews it worked,Hitlers captain in ww1 who awarded him his beloved Iron Cross was named Gutman,Captain Gutman was Jewish,no one at the time doing ww1 ever said Captain Gutman never did anything but his duty to the best of his ablitys,Captain Gutman died in the Holocaust.
