Help answer this question below.
boil rice in water for about an hour or more if youd like, drain the water, put it in her cute sippy cup and let her drink it, add some sugar like a teaspoon or less to give it some flavor, itll help with the diarrhea. repeat this if you have to just dont give her too much or shell become constipated instead
I agree, this is a time when your Vet may need to be contacted.
If you do not or cannot do a visit today, since it is Sunday, get a can of PLAIN PUMPKIN, give her a tablespoon now, if she will eat it. (most dogs love pumpkin, but DO NOT buy or feed the "ready for pie" sugar infested stuff...ONLY PLAIN!)
It would be good if you can take her temp too, normal should be between 100.4 and 102.2. If hers is higher...call an emergency Vet clinic NOW...there is something infected or really wrong...and remember we can't see your dog! Play it safe!
If her Temp is normal and she eats the pumpkin and is DRINKING a reasonable amount of water, you can PROBABLY wait till Monday when your regular Vet will be open again. But ONLY YOU can make this judgment call accurately...we don't know your dog's normal level of energy, nor can we see her now...our guessing or imagining what should or could be is of NO VALUE if she is really sick with something potentially life threatening!
She can have some more pumpkin after a few hours or with her dinner. For some odd reason Pumpkin seems to help dry up "the runs" if it is a simple digestive issue.
PLEASE take your little friend to a Vet, they can help her so much more than we or you can.

The 2nd sample bottle already had white granules in, which were uric acid, why did the 2nd bottle have this in, and not the 1st?

You're reading My 3 year old westie has had diarrhea for 2 days. Last night she didn't act sick but today she cant stand and is very lethargic. I have pinched her skin to see if she is dehydrated and the skin went right back down.
