I would go as Tinkerbell fairy dust and all,and my husbad as captain Hook he is to big to be Peter Pan.
-
I would go as Princess Jasmine, from Aladdin. Finding a costume to suit her look wouldn't be as hard as trying to find some enormous, white, Cinderella style ball gown - you can find costume jewelry to complete the look at any "trendy" boutique, too.
-
I would personally go as the creme de la creme of Disney, Mickey Mouse. What a legend! For males you could use people such as Jack Sparrow, Goofy or Woody or Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story. For females, you could try out characters such as Minnie Mouse, Jessie the cowgirl and Pocahontas
-
I would avoid the Princesses and Princes...go for something less known: Pinocchio,Alice in Wonderland, Mulan,Lilo and Stitch. Lots of good and easy costumes in there. Try trolling the op shops for costumes...you can find all sorts of things cheap there.
-
I've always wanted to get dressed up as Cinderella. Of course I'd have to talk my wife into dressing as Prince Charming
-
My choices would be either Belle and Beast or Cinderella and Prince Charming...but if you want to go a little bit off the beaten path, go as Woody and Bo Peep! I think that would be super cute, bring a little stuffed sheep lol!
-
The Sorcerer from "Fantasia - The Sorcerer's Apprentice".

Thank you all for your help. My husband and I ended up going as Micky and Minnie Mouse- I had help creating the outfits. We had lots of fun- and the outfits of others were just amazing! Luckily nobody else was dressed up as Minnie and Mickey, but there were lots of princes and princesses. Loved the pirates, and there was an Ariel Mermaid who looked just beautiful. Anyway, thanks for all of your ideas.

Rats, you could have gone as Jack in the bean stalk and his mom, or the cow he trades for the beans.
