If you ask a religious question representative of your faith are you open to answers that disagree with your beliefs or do you ask to evangelize?

I am open minded and will entertain what other have to say. Doesn't mean that in the end I will agree. I will not troll or downgrade points on people who I don't agree with because that is petty.

Yes I am afraid you will certainly get some very disenting views not only from non believers but also from different denominations of your own faith. Religion is without a doubt the section in which you will get the most opposite of views.

Of course. Why would someone ask another person's opinion if he/she was not willing to hear the answer?

I SO do not want to evangelize. I want people to have their own beliefs and have comfort from them. I do not want to upset anyone's sense of self or belief in whatever deity, lack of deity, or higher power they want. I believe I've thought the whole thing through, FOR ME. It isn't my business to tell anybody else what to believe.

It's not an either or for me...it's both, in a sense.

If I ask a question about anything, it's because I'm merely curious. If I wanted to preach about something I'd do it in my answers.
