Do you know what your average or normal cholesterol level is? Mine is between about 185-195 normally. If you know yours care to share it since we are "anonymous" here?

• Thanks, and true. But my father is not even 70 and has had to have several heart bypass surgeries. His diet is awful. Mom is around 190. So, I do think diet has a lot to do with it. In fact, it was difficult to just get the test, when I asked a couple of M.D.s, they told me it was expensive, and as a vegan I really didn't have anything to worry about.

• 160 was as low as the test would go...it was way below the bottom of the normal level.
