  • If he said it was a citation then it's not a warning. You were doing 11mph (or more) over the limit. In this case you are required to see the majestrate (may differ according to your local laws). So, save the ticket, get your court date, and wait. Or, you can plead guilty and maybe they'll give you a fine amount.
  • call and ask about if it is a ticket and if you're going 3 mph over the limit thats a ticket it isnt a big margin but its bs and the law
  • He was being nice to you. If he had cited you for much higher, other penalties would have kicked in. Like higher fees, insurance rate hikes, and additional points on your license. Push the matter, and the judge may not be so understanding.
