Lol, but the theory wasn't literal... its not that girls really want a penis, but that it is symbolic of the power that came with it at the time of his writing.
agreed. back then, a penis meant dominance. and still does in some cultures today. women didn't want the penis in itself, they wanted the power that came with it.
