Help answer this question below.

Have a 87 Subaru GL with Automatic tranny. Uses no engine oil between changes. The tranny uses lots of fluid. Daily driven around town everyday, it will use a pint once a month, but at freeway speed uses pint in 2 days. No drips on ground or under car.

    Odd. Have you ever had the tranny serviced? Does it shift normally? Have you noticed any problems with the performance of the tranny or no?

    It doesn't have to leave a puddle under the car. A pressure leak could occur while you're accelerating. Might just be a leaky line leading to the radiator. Regardless, a good mechanic should be able to spot it.
