Gotta be Explorer, it has always ran better on my machine then any other browser I've tried.
-
Yeah Explorer.. Firefox always seems to crash!
-
I think explorer is too basic for my browsing needs, if I had to choose between the 2 I'd say firefox. Right now (and almost always) I use opera.
-
I prefer Firefox, as I tend to have problems with Explorer.
-
Firefox wins hands down. I don't get crashes at all.
-
I pick firefox. I have used it for a few years, and it does the job!
-
i prefer firefox, but i had problems with v2.0, so i use v1.5
-
Firefox is the best, been using it two years now. Too many problems with explorer.
-
Moziiiiiilla!! (that would be Mozilla Firefox)
-
Firefox has spell check and I can restore an old session if I suddenly log off and didn't log out of any pages I was in. I can't say that about explorer: Hated it.
-
Internet Explorer just because I have never used the other one.
-
Firefox.
-
Firefox has tabbing which is quite convenient.
-
Firefox hands down, but I hate coolaris because it slows dial-up further.
-
I like Firefox because they pioneered the features that users want that Microsoft is just now catching onto... (like tabbed browsing, complete cache management, etc)
-
I love Firefox, but why am I using Opera now?
-
Firefox,because it's faster.Internet Explorer freezes too much.
-
I like internet explorer personally, but I use foxfire for the spell check, if only IE could have spell check!!
-
I am using both actually. Firefox works better on this site.
-
Firefox.. just because.
-
internet explorer personaly i just never really tried firefox so i dont really have a fair opinion
-
I use IE ... firefox has only ever given me problems the 3 times I have tried to use it, so now I will stick to IE
-
Firefox because it is so much better than IE. However, I do like the format of IE7, and thats the magic of Firefox themes.
-
I prefer Firefox for its greater security (six years pest free and counting!) IE starts up much faster, though, so if I'm in a hurry I'll use it. It's only a matter of time before Firefox's growing market share makes it a target for malware, though, so I'm thinking of jumping to Opera soon.
-
Well i like Internet Explorer because ive used firefox and it makes the internet speed so much slower for me. Atleast internet explorer dosent slow me down!
-
I use Firefox or Safari, because I have a Mac. I prefer Firefox, though, because it has some nice features.
-
I use Firefox for most thing. Internet Explorer is reserved to watch Netflix instant "watch online" movies (it doesn't work with Firefox or I would use that.)
-
FIREFOX - big time - it rocks!! Soooooooooooooooo much better than Internet Explorer!!
-
Firefox, it actually works and has many nice features.
-
Both at the same time. Many things (specifically web-based enterprise apps at work) require IE, and I use FireFox for other stuff.
-
Firefox. I like how I can completely customize the GUI. I have everything on one toolbar. I like how it's faster than IE. It almost never freezes on me. Certainly less often than when I use IE. I like how you can make Firefox into a portable application that you can take with you on a memory stick. Try that with IE......
-
Firefox is faster and it looks prettier. Plus, opening new tabs is so much easier than opening new windows.
-
Firefox for me , its easier and I get better response
-
I'm a fast fan of Firefox. I was reluctant at first until I used it on a friend's computer, then I went home and downloaded it for myself.
-
Firefox all the way and to a certain degree Opera.
-
without a doubt its firefox as i find it quicker and have never had a single problem with it-quite the opposite to ie
-
Firefox all the way!! IE is shoved down our throats, it's leaky, it completely takes over your pc, lays a HUGE claim on your CPU and memory. I don't particularly like that business philosophy. When I buy a car, then too, I'd like to be given options for my car stereo, lots of them .... Of course, for those that lake the moral fiber to choose, IE is the perfect choice. It will gently steer you towards more and more scamsites, eager to squeeze your credit card dry. Firefox OTOH, lets YOU decide
-
I like the Firefox feature where if the browser crashes or your computer freezes up while you are surfing, then once Firefox is reopened, or your computer is booted up again and then Firefox is reopened, then Firefox automatically displays all of the websites you had open when the problem arose. Is there that option in Explorer? I haven't seen it.
-
Have to go with IE. Didn't like the way Firefox ''does things''. Seemed a little too much like IE, so why use something that ''tryst'' to be another, why not use the other?
-
I'm adding my firefox vote too although judging from the other answers, it doesn't need it :-) Main reasons: Most importantly because of the extensions. (there is very little you can't do with extensions and you can write your own if an extension to suite your purpose doesn't already exist) Flexibility to customize the interface to an extreme. Security.
-
Firefox. I like having a secure, stable, quick, Java-native browser that doesn't have the Microsoft stamp on it. Open-source FTW.
-
I've always hated IE. Never liked it never used it much, only when I had to. I was into Netscape and Communicator until Firefox came on the scene. I switched immediately and haven't looked back. Why anyone would want to use IE which is slower and has more security problems, is beyond me. And I love Thunderbird for mail.
-
Firefox. Because it IS better than Microsuck explorer.
-
FireFoX. Much Faster, and smarter. And if it does freeze (rarely) it will (give you the option to) bring you back to whatever page or pages you had open last, unlike IE. IE sucks. think about it the initials are IE, doesn't that sound like a sick noise??? IIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEE.... Get it?
-
Firefox. I like the tabs and I like alternatives to Microsoft.
-
I don't hare IE but I prefer firefox or opera cause of tabs rather than windows. There's also resumin of some downloads in opera not sure about firefox but there's certainly no resuming of a file in IE. The tabs 'lighten up' when they are fully opened. It's faster than IE.
-
When I am in Answerbag I prefer FireFox because it is very stable. In fact I always use FireFox with Answerbag and I hardly use Internet Explorer at all.
-
IE is slow but it recognizes HTML CSS XHTML and other codes better than Firefox. I use both Firefox for pages with basic coding (fast viewing) and IE for complex sites that Firefox can't read yet. I hope eventually Firefox will work out their bugs and i respect what they are doing but they got a long ways to go.
-
I like Firefox, I dont know anything about the other one.
-
opera, IT IS COMFORTABLE
-
Firefox...by far. I use it on my PC at work and my Mac at home.
-
I prefer Firefox do to the fact that IE is extremely vulnerable to hackers, especially IE7.
-
Firefox by far. Firefox is a more secure browser , has better plug-ins and add ons, it crashes less, and best of all it is not made by microsoft!
-
Firefox by 12,000 miles.
-
I'm a die hard Firefox user. More secure, and never crashes.
-
Internet Explorer.
-
Internet explorer. I think you can do more with it, but thats just my opinion. hope this helps =)
-
FIREFOX!!!!! So many less problems. IE sucks. ~+~
-
Firefox!!! But have you tried Safari on windows? It's pretty good.
-
Firefox, I love the add-ons
-
Firefox (I don't like Microsoft that much.)
-
I use both, FIrefox may be faster but for certain codes it doesn't respond well with. I love it and all but it still needs work.
-
Firefox since pre-1.0. MANY reasons; reliability, customization, security, tabbed browsing (before it was cool), and other toys. I have (and have had for years) Mouse gestures, l33t key, Adblock, Image zoom, and a built-in FTP client.
-
Firefox because it can delete all the history and such just by closing it.
-
Ineternet Explorer
-
Firefox, it is slow to load compared to Internet Explorer but once you start to use websites it is much faster and i spend more time on websites than starting the browser so Firefox wins!
-
Internet explorer is great but recently I've switched over to Mozilla Firefox, I like it better. It has spell check built in to the browser and It has less bugs than I.E. I would recommend Firefox over Internet Explorer.
-
IE yo...
-
I use firefox.
-
Firefox, but for some reason I cant save files, with it, right now.
-
I was experiencing memory leak problems with IE 7 on AB. My memory usage would get up around 340MB or so, and response time would get pretty slow. After installing Firefox I've had no more memory leak problems. Memory usage stays around 25MB with multiple windows open, and response time is quicker.
-
Unless the website demands it, I surf exclusively with Firefox.
-
Firefox! Spell check, add-ons, more secure, it thought of tabs first, looks better...
-
FireFox is better. IE is like licking your finger and turning the pages yourself. Ick.
-
FireFox hands down.
-
Firefox all the way! IE is horrible.
-
firefox is deffinatly better but i always find myself using IE out of habit.
-
Internet Explorer, because is doesn't suck.
-
Well, there's a reason they call it Internet Exploder or Internet Exploiter (and lots of others- feel free to post other ones as a comment if you can think of any). Firefox has spell check, doesn't load improperly and is just must better all around.
-
Explorer is garbage. Firefox rocks especially with the upgrade today. Explorer is utter nonsense and a dinosaur.
-
The new IE7 SUCKS. It's slow and hard to use. Firefox is by far the best browser I have ever used. It loads pages faster, they've done the testing. It's got tons of downloadable themes, awesome bookmarking, it's stable. And Firefox 3 just came out.
-
Internet Explorer i have no idea why i hate Firefox so much...
-
Firefox for sure.
-
i was going to say internet explorer, but reading the other comments, perhaps I ll try fiefox a bit more often !
-
i dont think i ever used Firefox so im kinda partial to Explorer.
-
Firefox!!!! It's way faster and it's much easier to set your preferences. Plus, you can block images/ads for faster web page-loading, etc, by right-clicking on the image.
-
I agree with Omar. I love Fire Fox. I have not seen a single explorer that can beat it. When i try to use Internet explorer i always get some issue. No issues with FireFox so far (: http://youtube.com/watch?v=1g30Xyh6Wqc That is a video that shows why FireFox is so awesome!
-
Firefox is better, but I use Opera mostly.
-
Firefox. A lot quicker and I just feel safer on there.
-
IE can suck my left humorous.
-
One of the reasons that I use Firefox is because viruses are usually written for programs that are used by the greatest number of people. That way the virus infects the most computers for the effort. Internet Explorer is the default browser for all Windows operating systems and presently used by more people than other browsers.
-
Linux
-
i like fire fox do to all its plug ins plus internet exploer is trying to be like fire fox
-
FIREFOX by miles!
-
Firefox, hands down.
-
Firefox!
-
Firefoxxxxxxx
-
for better or worse if it works it works☺
-
firefox is vastly superior to internet explorer I cant see why people even bother using ie its useless.
-
FIrefox is faster but the problem with it is that not all html/css codes work with it. i use a 64bit version of IE and its just as fast for me. Safari is also another program. Unfortunately its by Apple but you can get it for Windows. Yet just like Firefox not all codes work with it
