I have received lots of things in the mail. I check it regularly as it changes a lot. I received a sample today of Hamburger Helper singles. My son loved it. Great site check it out.
I have gotten lots of free samples by filling out forms. One suggestion is to open a free email account from yahoo and use that email address to fill in your forms so you don't get tons of spam in your regular email account. Make sure you check this account occasionally for yahoo will close any accounts that do not show activity for a certain period of time (I think 3 months).
I use these sites to find freebies:

What makes this fun is that I fill out forms about twice a year and I always forget that I have done it until 1-3 months later I am getting free perfume, soap and other samples in the mail.
Walmart gives sample sizes of different things and it changes weekly.

I have received a lot of free stuff and a lot of spam with it. I have gotten frozen pizza, salad dressing, cans of soup, cigars, chewing tobacco and snuff, stationary and pens, and a lot of other things.
Kashi and Cheerios cereal, contact lenses, dog treats, dryer sheets...
I tried that a few years ago, I found links to hundreds of web sites offering free samples. I never received anything but junk mail.
never.
IMO there is nothing free.
they either want your information to sell to others, or bug the dickens out of you with offers.
I never did, Im too afraid to do it.
I am a strong believer "nothing is free in the World".
A couple of sights that I go to for free things are sights that you take surveys or visit advertisements to earn things like gift cards or frequent flier miles. These are the three that I've had the best luck with, and give you fair compensation for your time.
