Depends really, If i can get them in a shop i will. If not and it's a brand i own somthing by already and i know how it fits then i will on the web.

I used to buy from catalogs all the time but the interent is so much better. It's like a catalog wherer you can get different views and find the best price. I haven't had much luck shopping for shoes in either place because my feet are hard to fit. I only buy from places that have great return policy. I'd say a good return policy is one that that really matters to me about shoes or clothes. That said, the place where I get most of my clothes right now, unless I make them, is one particular seller at ebay, who doesn't accept returns. But I really know their sizing by now and they are very generous in their measurements. THey tell you very measurement on the planet so if it doesn't fit you weren't reading right or if the measurements are wrong, then they take back. The websites that I have bought from online all have catalogs but I like to purchase online better becasue I can check availablity right away and know I'm getting it. I've bought from Newport News, Chic's, Land's End (especailly for warm winter clothes) Silhouette, Overstock.com and J.C.Penney
