A man using a dildo doesn't mean he's gay, it just means that he likes anal and/or prostate stimulation. I've known plenty of straight guys who enjoy a finger (or more) up the rectum. The guy should make sure that the toy is flared at the base so that it doesn't end up lost. A trip to the ER may be embarrassing and "I slipped in the bathtub" doesn't explain why you have a foreign object (usually a sex toy) inside of you. :P

being gay or bi means being sexually attracted to men and wanting to have sex with men. unless the guy playing with the toy feels sexually attracted to men, he's straight.

Nope that doesn't make you gay. If you find yourself turned on by another guy or imagining that there is a guy at the other end of the dildo, then you could be bi or gay.
