  • I said before I would have your baby...
  • Well if its inside your stomach you should be freaked out, it should be in your uterus
  • Well, if it were growing in your stomach, that would be worth freaking out over. But it's not, it's your uterus, and it's completely built for something to grow in there! It is a little weird at times, like when you first feel the baby move, but it's weird in an amazing way, like nothing else, and you soon get used to seeing it and feeling it. There's nothing wrong with you, it's an odd concept for many of us (even when you're going through it), and it won't make you a bad mother, especially as you have nine months to get used to it. And it's not a miracle at all, it's the most normal thing in the world. Yes, it's amazing, but it's not a miracle.
  • I think it is a miracle because everything has got to go just right and most of the time you are 4-6 weeks along before you know for sure. I got wierd out when My kids were born. I did not do the huggy kissy thing until they were cleaned up and I don't think that makes me less of a mom.
  • Fun is HOT!!!
  • Congradulations and nothing's wrong, that's normal for a new mom. You're going to go through so many changes now. Both physicly and emotional. Enjoy every one for each one is the sign of that baby growing big and strong in you. It's a miracle and blessing all rolled into one. Why? Because a new life is growing inside of you. A seprate and special new life. And the fact that you will carry it and give it life is just amazing. Just wait till it moves the first time. Or you see that little foot or hand poking out of you. Now there's freaky and joyous. Here's two games to play with the baby once you feel it move. Tap on your belly or draw cicles where you know it's laying. And you'll know where it is. The spot will be harder then the rest of your belly. The baby will kick back. And in some cases roll so you can get that spot that needs scratched. The other is for late in the second trimester. Get a flashlight and run it across your stomach. The baby will see the light through your stomach and chase it. Also if you play music the baby will respond and wiggle in your belly to the fast stuff. They love music. And talk till people think you're nuts. The baby will recognize you faster at birth that way. Now once the baby's moving if you want it to be still here's the trick we used for Gavin. Tap your belly where you want it to sit and lay your hand there. They can feel the added warmth and will go there. Plus they like the feel of your hand. Gavin used to curl up in Jay's hand when we went to bed. Jay would tap and he would swish over to the spot and snuggle in.
  • It's perfectly normal for the entire concept to seem a bit... Strange, to some new mum's. I mean, let's face it, "Miracle" or not, the idea of a small, separate life growing inside you *Is* a pretty unnerving one (Even if it is in the uterus, and not the stomach). That feeling will probably pass with time, and even if it doesn't, not everyone can experience pregnancy the same way, people are different, it doesn't mean there's anything "Wrong" with you. By the way, I didn’t know you were pregnant. Congratulations, I'm sure you'll make a very fun and fantastic mum.
