    There is no more 'nature taking it's course'. There are no natural predators usually. There isn't the range and area for resident animal populations. The weather is screwy lately. Too many things ahve changed the natural order of things. You can only do what you can but manisn't too smart about that. He tries one thing and realises that it messes this up or that up and again and again, things get worse, no matter how much study and knowledge gets done.
