  • Yes, I believe he can divorce you if it's true he can't find you. My ex-husband did this to me; which was ok. I got away from him, without him knowing where I was due to abuse and protection. I eventually had to face the courts, because I had my kids with me to. Everything turned out just fine once I told the court what was going on. My ex had investigators looking for me; they were able to locate my mom and dad's P.O. Box number and sent documents there. They were documents, saying return the children or he would automatically gain custody; my attorney turned everything around. I forgot to add: He searched for me by newspaper as well, and since he was not able to find me at the time he was able to get a divorce. I never saw the newspaper, because it was not like the Oregonian; it was actually similiar to the Newberg Graphic. I recieved all documents eventually.
  • He can file for a divorce but his current marriage is not legal. He is not married to the second woman. I would turn him into the police for bigamy.
