    I think that everyone is fundamentally racist. It is inevitable when you are brought up in a certain country doing certain things and believing certain things and expecting certain behaviours. However, that does not mean that everyone is nasty when they encounter people from other cultures. It just means that we revert to type in times of stress.
    I move between cultures easier than most people, but I still know where I am MOST comfortable, and I still acknowledge that there are some cultural groups I have problems with. I believe that if we acknowledge our prejudices, it is the first step to dealing with them.

    No, I know many people who do not give race or nationality a thought. Since we all came from the same parents, why should I feel different about any family member. We are all brothers and sisters in some way. We are all people.
