  • I personally bought a Turion64X2. I find that AMD tends to have the best price/performance ratio. If I was to buy a desktop I would get an Athlon64X2. I would not even consider a Celeron. It is the slowest major processor line on the market. If money wasn't an issue, I would get a Pentium. They have usually been the best performers if you are willing to pay a few hundred extra.
  • AMD Athlon's is better than any Intel processor that I have seen so far.
  • I trust Intel. I never had problem with their processors. And I have some friends who know better and they do the same. For a better performance I would not choose a celeron. However.
