There really isn't a way to "convince" her that it's not something to be ashamed of, it's something that she is going to have to find out herself. You can, however, tell her that fetishism is normal and a lot of the population has a fetish of some sort. A lip fetish is perfectly normal as we associate lips, mouth, and tongue with sex and orgasms (kissing, making out, oral sex). There is no reason why she should be ashamed of having a fetish, let alone a lip fetish. As long as the persons fetish doesn't drive them to do illegal things (example, there have been cases where people with some media fetishes to actually steal items, like leather or bras, to add to their collection) then it's perfectly normal and healthy. Just to clear myself up, there are two different kind of fetishisms, one being form fetishes and the other being media fetishes. In a form fetish, it is the object and its shape that are important, such as in the case of high-heeled shoes or body parts. In a media fetish, it is the material out of which the object is made that is important, such as silk or leather.
