A federal politician recently said that if the gas companies are in competition, it's the weirdest competition he's ever seen, since prices go up and down all at the same time. Agree? Disagree? Different opinion? Why don't the companies differ the prices?

    I would agree. Shell posted record profits this year. I'm really not surprised, since the gas here has been through the roof. I think they're all in agreement to screw us over as much as possible. I wish they'd either lower it and keep it steady at around $2.00 per gallon with adjustments for inflation every year or they would raise it to about $10 per gallon so that there would be more incentive to find alternative fuel cars.
