You're reading If you go to a restaurant and get the complete dinner special and you are so full that you can't eat your dessert, is it fair that they will only serve you the dessert in the restaurant and not let you take it home in bag?
Comments
I was not going to fight with the little immigrant waiter nor was I going to eat something and then feel like I was going to vomit. I didn't take the coffee or the dessert because I was too full. I suppose they encourage gluttony or abstaining from dessert.

Next time, ask to see the manager. Calmly state that you have paid for the dessert, but cannot eat it, so can you take it home. To really p. them off, take one mouthful of it. LOL

It's a nice place and if I go there again, I will bring my own tin foil and wrap it myself. :-)

Will never go back there. I will go to the diner up the street where they aren't having a take-out container shortage.
