If you go to a restaurant and get the complete dinner special and you are so full that you can't eat your dessert, is it fair that they will only serve you the dessert in the restaurant and not let you take it home in bag?

• I was not going to fight with the little immigrant waiter nor was I going to eat something and then feel like I was going to vomit. I didn't take the coffee or the dessert because I was too full. I suppose they encourage gluttony or abstaining from dessert.

• Next time, ask to see the manager. Calmly state that you have paid for the dessert, but cannot eat it, so can you take it home. To really p. them off, take one mouthful of it. LOL

• Thank you. The owner had a chance to make it right and he didn't. He threw the immigrant waiter "under the bus". My husband wrote him a long letter explaining why we would never be back.

• I think next time I only eat half my meal, have them pack that up and eat the dessert. LOL
  Maybe I will print out all the responses and mail it to them. I am glad I am not a mother cause if I was I would be pissed. Upon leaving waiter gives me a long stemmed Carnation. Oh well. It was very empty and I suppose people took their mothers to fancier places.

• I went to speak to the owner today. He put the blame on the immigrant that works there which is total b.s. because he would not have come up with this crazy idea himself. It all boils down to the cost of take out containers if you can believe that crap. He didn't offer to give me the cake I was shafted last night and he better fix his menus to read "no take out" or "must be consumed on premises" or he is in for more hell. Posted a retort letter from hubby on local newspaper bulletin board. His cheapness with his take out container crap will cost him dearly. He said he would give me two pieces of cake next time I come.. .too bad, he had his chance to make things right and he lied to my face, no next time.
