If you go to a restaurant and get the complete dinner special and you are so full that you can't eat your dessert, is it fair that they will only serve you the dessert in the restaurant and not let you take it home in bag?

Not if you have paid for it. It's yours.

One thing that I WILL NOT TOLERATE is bad customer service !! With me, they get one chance, and if they treat me badly , that's it !! Don't get me wrong. I'm not hard to please. I just expect to be given the same courtesy and respect that I give them. I'm also a VERY generous tipper. As a matter of fact, my wife thinks I over tip, and I probably do at times, but, I guess that the A-Holes out there really make me appreciate the good ones. Long story short, I would NEVER go back there !! There are way too many good business men & women in this world , to waste time and money with the jerk -offs of the world .I truly believe that we can have just about anything we want in life, by giving-(Providing) others what they want. Some folks just can't seem to grasp that concept.Obviuosly the owner of this particular resturaunt can't grasp it ! I can't imagine the owner/manager of a restauraunt risking the loss of a customer, who would spend, "only God knows how much" over a period of time, over a .10 cent ( If That ) styrofoam to go container. What a NIMROD !!

No, It is yours and you should take it home if you cant eat it. I would ask to speak to the manager and if nothing I would go to the owner and tell him I am dissastifed with his business practices and they way his emmployes level of service, the customer is allways right and if I dont get justic with you I will go onto the next level, If I am paying for something I should get my money back and never go back or report them for unconduct, they better treat me with respect I am a paying customer, they wouldn't even have a business or a job if it wasn't for the coustomers.$$

I'm sorry but there actually got to be a legal example for this. You buy something, and then they won't let you take it? I promise you, I would have taken my dessert home, if only to make a point.

I think that blows! You paid for the whole meal, you deserve it whereever you want to eat it. It sounds like a scam to me. These people are resturantuers, not your mother!
I think I would insist or make a scene.

Makes no sense from a business perspective. I would probly not go back if that is the way they treat customers

It's 2 years later and I have not set foot back in this place. I wonder how many other people were turned off by this bizarre way of treating customers.

Last night before going to be hubby and I talked about the "no cake" incident. Not only did we not get cake, we didn't take the coffee either. So they didn't have to wash two plates and two cups and saucers and they saved the cake/pie and coffee. I didn't complain that the dinner went up from $9.95 to $10.95. I think maybe Marie Antionette manages this Greek restaurant. You know there are plenty of other restaurants in the area that we can go to and they would not refuse to put two pieces of cake in some wrapping paper and place them in a bag. It's too bad that we won't be going back to this restaurant as per hubby. Come to think of it, I got better customer service at a Popeye's Chicken & Biscuits franchise this weekend by the family that runs it.
