I don't think Mormon men are supposed to see ANY woman undressed. Don't they wear that sack under their clothes, so their bodies will never be uncovered?

Allowed? Sad that this question must be asked. It must be so depressing to have so many rules and regulations when dealing with your own sexuality. I'm going to have to guess that NO, they are not allowed.

Sure. Latter-day Saints are “allowed” to do anything they want to do; that’s the point of agency. Of course, we live in an orderly universe, so there are consequences for every action.

    • We’re *allowed* to go to Church; the consequences involve a spiritual “booster shot” and the opportunity to renew our covenants with Father.

    • We’re *allowed* to watch an R-rated movie; the consequences involve the departure of the Holy Ghost and, by extension, decreased sensitivity to spiritual things.

    • We’re *allowed* to commit adultery; the consequences would involve not only the departure of the Holy Ghost, but also very likely a Church disciplinary council.

    • We’re *allowed* to machine-gun a K-Mart; the consequences involve not only the departure of the Holy Ghost and a disciplinary council, but probably also some sort of punishment from the secular government.

    • We’re *allowed* to jump off the edge of the Grand Canyon without a parachute; …well, you get the point.

It’s been my experience that many—if not most—religions don’t teach and perhaps don’t even understand this principle of choice and accountability, but that’s exactly why Heavenly Father has given us commandments: not to hold us back, but to alert us to the natural consequences of our actions (whether good or bad).

I’m not sure what the consequences would be for a man asking a woman (besides his wife) to undress for him, but I’m guessing he wouldn’t like them very much. ;-)

Saints who wish to be in good standing and considered worthy must never participate in any sexual relationships or activities outside of marriage.

A man is not allowed to see a woman who is not his wife naked. Even if the couple is engaged to be married he can't kiss her. He can hold her hand and nothing more.
