What is the meaning and origin of the Russian surname "Agalaroff"?

    Agalaroff - the root is Agalar, a name common in Azerbaijan, Turkey, Arabic countries.

    Means "son of Agalar."

    “Ov”, “off”, “in” and “ev” at the end of a Russian surname indicate the surname means “son of” ____ (whatever). It should also be noted that “off” is often the “English” version of “ov.”
