    Agalakov - Agalak - is a Turk name, so the surname might originate from a number of countries.

    Means "son of Agalak."

    “Ov”, “off”, “in” and “ev” at the end of a Russian surname indicate the surname means “son of” ____ (whatever). It should also be noted that “off” is often the “English” version of “ov.”
