Do you think it's abnormal to hear someone talking on a cell phone while they are sitting on the toilet in a Public restroom?

    Its probably not good etiquette. I wouldnt want to hear someones bottom in action while Im having a conversation with them !

    YES!!!!!!!!! I have experienced this a few times and it freaked me out. I wasn't sure if she was speaking to me or not. AND, I have observed that people who do this are less concerned about washing their hands afterwards. yuck!

    In this day and age it is too normal.
    Imagine the reaction they would get 20 years ago when cell phones were an unheard of thing?

    I think it is somewhat poor etiquette. Texting would be better. Cellphones are so common that it would not be unusual for someone to use one in the restroom, just rude.
