What does the basic tan boot for the ACUs generally cost to buy? I got a pair of ACUs from a marine friend but all i got is black boots for them and those go with my BDUs.

I paid $125 for a pair of Danners brand new. if you are going to buy them rather than take them as an issue then get a name brand company and try them on. I like danner because they included these heel inserts (call orthtics) that increased breathability and reduced blistering and wear on the inside. If it was marine MARPAT then the black are correct wear FOR WOODLAND MARPAT ONLY if it was urban or desert then you would still need new boots. the way that marines have ben differentiating themselves stateside from the army has been by wearing woodland instead of urdan. if the boots are black ask your friend if they were the uniform boots my guess is they may be. marines are different then army so check before you buy.
