  • Close Your window's and doors and window's and turn on the AC like an hour before you go to bed, all the cold air should stay in your room, instead of all going out your window, as for your fan, it may not be neccesary.
  • If your window is open I doubt the AC is going to cool your room down - you're just cooling the outside. Try closing your windows and opening your bedroom doors so the thermostat can measure the temperature of the whole house and cool appropriately. If your doors are closed the sensor will just measure what air is available to it, like the main section of your home, and cool that area. I bet your living room is nice and cool. If none of that works, there may be something blocking the air ducts. Try closing all the other vents in your home besides your room and then turn on the AC and see if you can feel cool air coming out of the vent in your room. If not, there may be a problem inside you air vents. You can get them cleaned out; it's a good idea to do so occasionally anyways. Finally, change your air filter where the AC unit takes in air. This is often a problem; people forget to change these things and it just prevents air from getting to the AC unit, less air means less efficiency and is just rhowing money down the drain. :o) Hope this helps!
