    They both mean "son of Adigam" or possibly "son of Adiga." “Ov”, “off”, “in”, “vich” and “ev” at the end of a Russian surname indicate the surname means “son of ____” (whatever). It should also be noted that “off” is often the “English” version of “ov.” It is also used by Russians to make their name sound more aristocratic.
