There are any number of exercises you can do to train for parkour. Basic push ups, crunches, chin ups, and lots of running helps. It is also very important to practice jumping and landing. Start small, about one foot or under. You would be surprised how easily you can hurt yourself even from this height, so you must practice small before you go big. Also, before you try any new moves make sure you know all of the physics and movements behind them. Practice these before the actual trick. You dont want to kill yourself on the first attempt.

Good co-ordination is a good factor, Also balance, strength is not required at first you build it up gradually as you progress.but of course doing a little bit of strength trainign would help. If wanting to learn flips and dont have access to a gym or trampoline a school sandpit is a good choice.. BenS
