Can i use a ps1 memory card in my ps2 to save ps1 games?

  Memory card for ps2 is not allowing me to go to a saved mission on gta 3 and just starts a new game. I deleted other games to have more room. I restarted ps2 and blew on the memory card. It didn't work. What might be wrong? and what do I have to do?

  If you save a game on a ps2 memory card, can the data load on a different disc of the same game?

  I was playing Dragon ball z infinite world for 6 or 7 months and yesterday when i finished and made save to the game now the memory card is not working i Don't know why. Then it appears to me my M.c have a corrupted files any suggestions please ......?

  Why cant I play any games on my PS2? it asks me for a memory card but I really dont want to save anyhting, I thought that you needed a memory card for when you wanted to save your game info
