    Because the outcome is predetermined. In true sports the victor is decided during the event not before.

    Many people do not consider professional wrestling a sport, because it is all scripted and staged. Therefore, it isn't actually a competition at all, as the outcome is already predetermined. Even the WWE bills themselves as "Sports Entertainment".
