I AM WORKING ON A 1989 CHEVY P.U. FULLSIZE.IAM TRYING TO GET A RADIATED NOISE OUT OF THE RADIO (STILL FACTORY).I KNOW ON THE OLDER VEHICLES THEY HAD NOISE FILTERS ON VARIOUS COMPONENTS IS THIS STILL THE CASE.IF SO WHERE WOULD THEY OR IT BE LOCATED.

    You may wish to change out your spark plug wires.
    The wires have been known to cause a great deal of radio static. You would want to purchase the resistor type. Most that you buy today are of that type.
