Well it depends on the toy. Are you saying eating as in ripping it to shreds all over your floor, or eating as in swallowed it? If the dog swallowed it...a quick trip to the Vet MAY BE IN ORDER...it needs to come out one way or the other and if it's not going to "pass through" then your Vet needs to fetch it out! It could cause an impacted bowel which can cause death. If the toy is only in pieces all over the place, pick it up..hit the trash can with it...and think about something that might last a bit longer or with less mess for your next purchase. A KONG can be stuffed with yummy treats including plain yogurt a spoon of peanut butter or apple sauce (no sugar) mixed into the yogurt... some kibble...or the yogurt and some cut up bits of human beef jerky AND FROZEN over night to last hours during the day...with little or no mess left behind. Excellent for Crate Training too!
