I do! On occasion (okay, once) I was allowed to cut a friend's hair before she went to the hairdressers to get it done properly. I thought it's be really easy, stick some sellotape across the bottom and snip, but it went disastrously wrong. Hair cutting is NOT easy, and I don't do it any more.

No one has ever let me cut their hair, but I love cutting my own. I usually mess with it and make it really funky and keep it that way for a few hours and then I just use clippers and get it really short just like I like it (it looks fine then). When I use to shave my head I would always do a Mohawk for a few hours.

I've always cut hair. The boys are easy, especially the clippered bits. My eldest daughter has such incredibly thick hair (she had a spiral perm for her 12th birthday and it took SEVEN hours). She picked up headlice as a younger child with regularlity and because of the thickness it was dreadfully difficult to clear. I'd often end up cutting her hair because hairdressers wouldn't do it. The eldest three all want style now and I don't do style I do neat cutting. I still cut my little 'uns hair. She won't sit still for the hairdresser so I do it while she's playing in the bath. My fella is bald but I occassionally trim his beard. I snipped a bit too much off last time and he's been hiding from me since. snip snip.
